HopeWell the Band

Band Members:

Dave Rhodes - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica
Dave Rhodes

Dave Rhodes is the heart and soul of HopeWell — the storyteller, the spark, and the steady pulse that drives the band forward. Often under-the-radar in a lead-guitar world, Dave's rhythm playing is the glue that holds everything together, laying down the foundation that lets HopeWell's sound soar. A prolific writer, Dave pens many of the band's songs, drawing from real-life fiascos, twists, heartbreaks, humor, and everything in between. His lyrics have a way of being catchy and honest at the same time — relatable stories wrapped in melodies you can't shake. On stage, Dave is pure entertainment. With a harmonica in hand or a guitar slung over his shoulder, he radiates an energy that spreads instantly to the crowd. He's up there genuinely having a good time, and the audience feels that — it's contagious. Equal parts musician, writer, performer, and vibe-setter, Dave brings authenticity and heart to HopeWell in a way no one else can. He's the pulse behind the songs, the storyteller behind the lyrics, and a huge part of what makes the band feel alive.

Ian Wijaya - Guitar
Ian Wijaya

Ian Wijaya is the lead guitarist of HopeWell. Known for his melodic phrasing and warm tone, Ian brings a musical sensitivity that elevates every song he touches. His playing is both tasteful and explosive — the kind that turns heads, lifts crowds to their feet, and gives HopeWell its unmistakable musical identity. Ian is a musician who listens first and plays for the song — not the spotlight. His feel, intuition, and melodic instincts form the backbone of many of HopeWell's signature hooks and sonic moments. Whether weaving textures through verses or delivering solos that build, peak and stay with you long after the last note, Ian brings heart, soul, and authenticity to everything he does. A phenomenal guitarist and an even better person, he's a core part of what makes HopeWell… HopeWell.

Scott Consoli - Bass Guitar
Scott Consoli

Scott Consoli's journey into music didn't start with a grand plan — it started with a bet. What began as a challenge quickly turned into passion, and before long, Scott found himself onstage living out a moment most musicians only dream about: the very first time his parents saw him play, he was opening for Bruce Springsteen at Giants Stadium. A bet turned into a calling and a thirteen year hiatus turned into HopeWell. With a deep love for original music, Scott spent years shaping his sound in the band Exit 105, sharing stages with legends along the way. He's opened for George Clinton, Cheap Trick, Radiohead, the Charlie Daniels Band, and even stood on the same stage with The Boss himself who joined in. Those experiences sharpened not just his chops, but his appreciation for honest, heartfelt rock played at full volume. On the bass, Scott mixes melodic flair with rock-solid rhythm. Whether he's ripping smooth runs up the neck or locking into tight, simple grooves with his drummer and buddy, Scott plays with a feel that anchors the band and pushes the music forward. His style is equal parts instinct, emotion, and straight-up fun — the kind of bass playing you feel as much as you hear. Above all, Scott loves playing live. The lights, the crowd, the energy, the unpredictability — that's where he thrives. His enthusiasm on stage spills into every audience, helping fuel the good-time, good-friends atmosphere that defines HopeWell. From a bet to a stadium stage, from hometown bars to legendary venues, Scott Consoli brings heart, grit, and groove to every show — and the band wouldn't sound the same without him.

Mark Doron - Drums & Percussion
Mark Doron

Mark Doron is the rhythmic engine of HopeWell — a powerhouse drummer with roots right here in Hopewell, NJ, and a musical journey that's taken him far beyond it. A local native with a road-tested pedigree, Mark has spent years touring up and down the East Coast and beyond, most notably as part of The Transmitters, a Virginia-based touring act, along with several other groups spanning multiple genres and multiple instruments. Mark's versatility is his superpower. From bluegrass to rock, funk to folk, jam-band grooves to high-energy anthems, he's mastered the art of playing exactly what the song needs — and then kicking it up a notch when the moment calls for it. Whether it's thunderous fills, tight pocket grooves, or foot-stomping drive, Mark knows how to bring the noise, bring the party, and bring the crowd to life. Onstage, Mark is the spark. His energy is contagious, his timing is rock solid, and his chemistry with the band — especially locking in with Scott on bass — gives HopeWell its foundation and fire. He plays with the joy of someone who truly loves what he does, and every audience feels it. A seasoned traveler, a dynamic performer, and an all-around great hang, Mark Doron brings both experience and excitement to every HopeWell show. Whether in a small bar or on a big stage, he's the heartbeat that keeps the band — and the crowd — moving.
